One of the best tools we have to put new eyes on disc golf is sharing magic moments from the course on our social media pages. There are shots that are so obviously impressive and unlikely, even non-disc golfers know how special they are. When we share clips like this, they can reach far outside the immediate disc golf community.

This year, an Innova Instagram post of Jen Allen’s two Tour Series Teebird aces was viewed over 35 million times. Tens of millions of people likely saw disc golf for the first time. Their first exposure to our sport was that thrilling moment which would pique anyone’s interest.

At 37.7 million views and 1.3 million Likes, our clip of Jen Allen’s aces has become the most popular social post in disc golf history. The post of her ace at the Beaver State Fling (the first of the two) went viral in its own right, with 13.3 million views. Jen is responsible for introducing a huge number of people to the sport this year.

Blomroos Bombs Across Winthrop Lake

It takes an absolute smash to clear the lake at Winthrop University; over 500 feet to the other side of the water. Whether you know about disc golf or not, watching a perfect, full-flight rip is a thing of beauty. Henna Blomroos’s drive at the 2022 United States Disc Golf Distance Showcase had all the factors needed to reach millions, becoming our most viewed TikTok to date.
