It was Kevin Babbit’s first Major win; Juliana Korver and Pete May have each won over a dozen. Ohn Scoggins and Joe Rovere are both on Worlds winning streaks; Amy Schiller went 34 years between her two World titles. No matter how many titles you already have or how long passes between victories, winning the PDGA Worlds holds the same weight and prestige. Congrats to all six 2024 PDGA Masters World Champions from Team Innova!
Ohn Scoggins started her World Championship just a couple days after taking 2nd place in a playoff on the DGPT at the Beaver State Fling. How she found the energy to put together the smoking hot, -9 she opened her Masters Worlds with, we will never know. That 1011-rated round had two Eagles and left Ohn with a 6 stroke lead over the field. From there, Scoggins walked in the victory. She shot or tied the hot round every day of the tournament. Ultimately, Ohn earned her 4th-consecutive Masters World Championship title with a 25 stroke margin.
It doesn’t matter if it’s a C-tier, A-tier, Worlds, whatever… When you win, it always feels good!
-Ohn Scoggins
In his pre-tournament interview, Joe Rovere said he was only physically at about 60%. The next day, he shot a 1071-rated, -12 that was the best round of the tournament across all divisions (not bad for 60%!). Despite a nagging shoulder injury, Joe played world-class disc golf for five days in a row to earn his 3rd-consecutive PDGA Masters World Championships.
Joe secured his win with smart golf in high winds. He kept the disc in-bounds and disced down to a Thunderbird where other players were throwing 12 or 13 speeds. He knew when Par would take strokes on the field and focused on clean golf, avoiding big numbers. In the end, Joe beat the field by a commanding 15 strokes.
[This win] says a lot about the mental state I was in and just being prepared and happy.
-Joe Rovere
With her win at last week’s 2024 PDGA Masters World Championships, Juliana Korver now has 13 Major disc golf titles. She took down the FP50 division for the 2nd year in a row. She was the only player in her field to finish under par for the event.
Juliana still competes and succeeds at Disc Golf Pro Tour events in the FPO division. So far this season, JK has not missed cash on tour. Her ability to hang with the best in the world through multiple decades is inspirational.

Kevin Babbit has played in 19 PDGA Majors spanning over 25 years and five different divisions. Last week, Kevin took home a Major title for the first time! He won the MP55 division of the 2024 Masters World Championships, recovering from being down 6 strokes after the first two rounds. His hot round in the Semi-finals rocketed Kevin into first place for the first time all tournament. From there, he maintained his four stroke margin through the finals. Kevin averaged 22 points above his player rating for the event. Congratulations on your first of what is hopefully more to come!
Amy Schiller won the 1990 PDGA Worlds in FPO and now she stands on top of the World again, over 30 years later. She won last week’s Masters World Championships in the FP60 division, beating the field by 8 strokes. Amy shot the hot round on three different days and averaged 41 points above her player rating for the event.
With 17 Freestyle Frisbee Major victories, more Overall World titles than any other female, the women’s Maximum Time Aloft World record of 11.81 seconds, and countless Ultimate accolades, Amy Schiller is one of the greatest disc athletes of all time. She earned the title of Freestyle Frisbee women’s Player of the Decade for the 90s. She is one of Team Innova’s most accomplished athletes, both within and beyond disc golf.

Pete May is unstoppable in his division. He earned the 14th Major title of his career at last week’s Masters World Championships, beating the MP80 field by 7 strokes. Pete was relying on his 140-gram Mamba off-the-tee, still ripping full flight drives at over 80 years old. Pete is proof that disc golf, even at a competitive level, is for all ages.
