Every USDGC Champion Had to Qualify First

The journey to the United States Disc Golf Championship and Throw Pink Women’s Disc Golf Championship is filled with compelling storylines that go beyond the fight for first place. At each qualifying event, players hovering near the qualifying cutline face pressure that rivals what the tournament leaders experience. Each throw could be the difference between fulfilling a lifelong dream or watching from the sidelines.

New Opportunities in 2025

To better serve the global disc golf community and to offer opportunities for players who aren’t full-time touring athletes, we have made some changes to our qualifying process for 2025. Tour events in the US and PDGA Majors will now offer three qualifying spots instead of four. The schedule this year features more international events and A-tiers to reflect the direction that our sport is growing.

As always, past USDGC and Throw Pink champions are invited to register automatically, as are the top ten finishers from last year’s USDGC and the top three from Throw Pink. The winners of select protected-division events will also be extended an invitation. For those who don’t earn their spot during the season, Monday Qualifying offers one final chance to prove you belong on disc golf’s biggest stage.
