It is our pleasure to announce the newest member of Team Discmania, Hannah E. Croke. Reigning out of Southbridge, MA, Hannah’s interest in the sport began after she watched the 2014 Vibram Open — a tournament played on her home course of Maple Hill. Hannah competed in local (unsanctioned) events until she joined her college disc golf team. In 2016 she finished 2nd in the women’s individual event at the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships. Earlier this year she exploded onto the touring circuit with a 17-stroke victory in the Advanced Women’s division at the Gentlemen’s Club Challenge in Las Vegas. Her average round rating was an 886. In order to show she had what it took to be a part of Team Discmania, Hannah scheduled a private workout mimicking the Discmania Combine events, and the rest is history.
Hannah brings a lot to our team. Aside from being a great up-and-coming female player, she has a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science from Liberty University, and is a certified Exercise Physiologist. She has found a way to implement all of her knowledge into the sport we all love. Later in the year you will see a three-part video series featuring her insights on how to prepare for a competitive round, how to maintain your preparation, and how to recover well.
We are very excited to see what her future holds. Keep an eye out for her at the upcoming Disc Golf World Tour event, the Konopiste Open. Welcome Hannah, we’re proud to see you Reinvent Your Game!
